Unable to use the garage door opener normally. The door doesn’t go all the way up.
Our Solution:
Checked the garage door opener safety sensors to ensure good alignment and found no issues. Also examined the travel limit but found no adjustment needed there. The garage door opener belt was slack and the problem was revealed to be a tear. Replaced the opener belt and adjusted its tautness to be able to pull the door. Ran a system’s check afterwards and examined other parts of the opener system to verify no other faults existed.
