Our Solution:
The problem with the garage door opener reversing often results from problems with the safety sensors, but not always. In this case, we checked the sensors and found they’ve become misaligned and the lenses had scratches and small cracks in them. Replaced the opener sensors with new units, aligned them to face each other, then performed safety tests to ensure the garage door only reversed when it needed to.
